Description :

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Republik Indonesia) is an Indonesian ministry responsible for providing assist to the President and Vice President in performing government's affairs in the field of energy and mineral resources.

Task and Functions :

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has energy in the energy sector, and mineral resources in the government to assist the President in organizing state government. 

In performing its duties, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources performs the following functions:

1. formulation, determination and implementation in the energy, and mineral resources;
2. managing the goods under the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources;
3. supervision on the execution of duties within the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources;
4. Technical Implementation, and supervision on the implementation of the Department of Energy, and Mineral Resources in the regions
5. implementation of national-scale technical activities.
